  1. I have never entered Timberwolf Mountain region. I know all the other regions well except for HRV which I have only played through once. I am curious to see this new place. So, from the warm comfort of (NotSo) Bleak Inlet I am planning an expedition. I know I need a hacksaw. Do I need to make a bearskin coat? It is so heavy. Should I bring a bearskin bedroll or will a regular light-weight one do? Please let me know if you have any equipment suggestions for this exploration. Thanks happy day
  2. I really try to figure out where these shots are taken. But TLD is so big and so various… Where is that?
  3. Good lord! 120Kg? That is a lot of wear and tear on axes. And it is a long long wolf-strewn walk to the machine shop.
  4. Outside it is daylight. Inside the windows are hardly backlit. Maybe someone should fix the night lighting in the Cannery Workshop. It is one of the interiors with them most windows and yet for the most part no light comes through them from dusk til dawn. By rights you should be able to see, or at least orient yourself by the light in there unless there is no moon or a blizzard at night.
  5. After dragging a 2 kg 50% hammer from Broken Railroad to the machine shop at the cannery in Bleak Inlet I was somewhat taken aback to find that I can not repair it on the milling machine. And still more taken aback when I looked at it and found that I only needed tools and a fir firewood. So I did not have to carry it all that way after all. Oh well, I was going to have to carry it back regardless.
  6. Don’t like forging at the Riken. The lighting is very poor.
  7. IRL you need to be able to turn to look out the back in order to drive a car. The limited stops on the camera rotation inside vehicles do not make any sense. I find the frustrating.
  8. The bear is quite easy to harvest if he comes close to the cottages and you have archery = 5. So much nutritious meat. I basically live off bear now.
  9. Danger Bear! The superhero bear that protects fish from fishers.
  10. I always try to have a wee nap on the ledge mid climb. Or start a fire and make some water. Just take an hour somewhere bears and wolves dare not tread.
  11. A fending-off mechanic, with bayonet or spear or even a pointy stick, would add a lot of tension to encounters and more encounter variety.
