They did when I shot my gun, that's for sure! It also turns out there were like 3 other wolves just waiting for me to show up!

if it appears like it was/is skewered then yes!  
I worked on that for a long time to make it look like the meat was skewered.
this is how I spend my time in the sandbox making those long tedious days tick by...

Apologies I know it sounded like a stupid question but I didn't know if you'd done it intentionally or if it was one of those glitches!  I suppose after playing for so long it's hard to keep things fresh in the game! I'm sure episode 4 isn't far off despite the rumours😁

on the 'mystery lake' end of the bridge, you can get up to a ledge that then meets a fallen tree. this takes you over to the opposite cliff adjacent to the gorge, but past the instakill area.

I hope htl aren't fixing all these little areas as well as episode 4! Be a shame not to be able to cheat the game🙂 well for those who are brave enough  anyway!

The Legend of the White Stag

I arrived at the snow shelter lookout very late in the afternoon,  it would be dusk soon so I entered the shelter.
After entering the shelter, a weariness fell upon me and I dozed off...

I awoke to the sounds of hooves breaking thru the frozen crust of the snow pack and could hear the beautiful beast as it snorted and sneezed in the cold morning air.   I spied a glimpse of his magnificent form before he casually sauntered out of my view.   I waited in place watching...  waiting and watching....  waiting and watching some more until dusk was upon me yet again.  I felt cheated in that I had only gotten a single glance of this legendary albino buck, but I guess that's the stuff of legends.   I decided to sleep in place again to see if maybe the buck would return.   He did not.

As I left the enclosure I headed back to the broken buildings of the old farmstead only to find the
Legendary Albino Stag frozen in place!  It was as if the game gods had heard my lamentations and decided to
grant me with this final gift!

If you think about it, heaven isn't that far away. Thinking about a very dear friend today that I lost to a cancerous brain tumor 8 years ago this December. Have gotten better but still have my moments as well.
