yes, i put the lit flares in the microwave and closed the door.  I probably should have taken a pic of them inside but didnt think to do so.  anyways I was surprised the flames of the torch actually burned  outside of the closed microwave.  I guess size does matter...

So as the flares were burning and I moved them from the microwave a set them in the grate of the wood stove

the resulting red hue was awesome.  but the red flare burns for a long time.  especially compared to the blue marine flare.

The red flare light really looks good! Never would've thought  to put them in the stove  though! Got a bit of a Halloween feel to it!

Isn't it odd that htl put so much detail into this game but somehow they make smoke look like bad  scratch marks!?

oddly I think it looks kinda cool
i'd imagine it is probably difficult to illustrate wafting smoke from a chimney.  in this case it kinda reminds me of the 
contrails that aircraft engines leave in the sky at high altitudes.  except of course this is ground level...

But they manage to do something complicated like their breath, which I know is hard to do!( Saw  something about it on TV ages ago! )Just seems odd! It is kind of cool  though!

Y'know, makes me wonder why some homes have flat screens in coastal and telecom office would have something ancient. Could it be Hinterland got confused and messed up game time frames?

I guess maybe because it was a radio tower only?  or perhaps the administration of the telecom center didn't want their employees lounging watching HDTV.  so some guy brought his old tv from his basement and they watched old betamax cassette tapes or played Atari...

Yeah, It was nice until I ran into the bear that patrols by the arch which luckily he just growled at me. It's interesting, cause the map on the wiki site shows a rainbow at this spot. I'd never seen it before but it seems it's an in game spot for rainbows, in Hushed River Valley.
