But that would require a lot of animation work.  I think its more fun to have more frequent Auroras and have animal aggression carry over into the next day.  Or have Old Bear wandering the map.

 

Or knock out a long time wishlist item, the Cougar.  Whenever it gets foggy out, you can hear Grey Mother whispering at you from the mist.
