TSD - The Sitting Dead

HRV's sitting dead continue to surprise me when I find them.  This poor chap doesn't appear to be anywhere ready to survive the rugged climes of this region.  I suspect he may be the unfortunate survivor of one of the plane crashes that I've stumbled onto recently.  He looks ill equipped to have otherwise found himself here in this predicament.  My suspicions seem to be confirmed when I turned out his pockets and found all he had was a metal shard that he was using as a knife and a stale package of beef jerky.  The one thing however that he yielded that made my day was a recipe card for Stalker's Pie.  Looks like the card comes with live ingredients roaming nearby.  Just barely managed to avoid a bear that was close by as I made a hasty retreat!

Amazon had just delivered the long-awaited & coveted Stalker's Pie recipe!  In his excitement and haste to gather the ingredients, he failed to properly plan and equip himself.  Stumbling through the wilderness, he became tired and lost.  "Let me just rest for a minute here..."

Coastal Highway. Poor guy had nothing on him. Two cedar firewood and some crow feathers nearby.

Slogging my way through the new region I find my first sitting dead.  From appearances hard to discern what he may have died of, but I'm betting exposure.  Found the corpse literally in the middle of nowhere, with nothing in his pockets. Perhaps he was the pilot or passenger of one of the down aircraft I found, I could see him wandering deliriously or in a state of shock until he could go no further and slumped down here accepting his fate.

As I approached the weather station on my quest to uncover Rudiger's secrets, I found this wretched chap outside the workshop.  I dunno why he chose this place in particular, but I did find him with a bottle of pain pills and some water. The scene kinda implied that maybe he took his own life, downing the majority of the pills in the bottle and then just drifting off into the long dark as his numbed body slowly fell asleep in the frigid cold...

Andre's peak, TWM. Nothing on this guy either, just an energy drink and a knife next to him.

A barn in Ash Canyon. Guy had a scarf on him, nothing else. He was just next to the miner's cabin, why did he die here?

Blackrock. Guy had only a pair of shoes and a whetstone. A runaway prisoner perhaps?
