  1. Happy to hear it. I had another graphics issue with SSAO blobs/artifacts that seemed to be affected by wind, it was most noticeable around the hands when holding a revolver. Did you notice that?
  2. Unable to light a torch with a fire, except torch on the ground. Entering an interior location without a loading screen (ie. Mountaineer's Hut) makes the surrounding sticks, branches and limbs to despawn. This is not new to v2.00 (91441), but still an issue.
  3. Hi, Yes, it's happening in every game I start since the last patch came out. I already sent multiple bug reports weeks ago with detailed steps on how to reproduce it, but they haven't answered yet.
  4. This is my experience, too. For me since the last update items from inventory/storage randomly disappear. Now I have a bled out animal carcass that is not visible but there're crows and feathers. I lost a bear-hide, pots and other not so hard to come by/important items. This makes the game unplayable. I've sent multiple bug reports, but haven't received any reply but the automated confirmation message.
  5. The disclaimer one: try deleting/renaming the intro_cards.mp4 in ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/TheLongDark/tld_Data/StreamingAssets/Video/Windows/ The other one sounds like a graphics driver issue, I'm able to run the game on a budget ryzen+radeon build and bit outdated *buntu. Have you tried it with the recent patch?
  6. Dear @Admin @Support, I'm trying to find information about what has been changed in the recent update to solve my issue of the game reverting back to default keybindings on each start. I was unsuccessful to locate the changelogs. The forum topic "The Long Dark Technical FAQ" has a dead-link under "Find the most-recent Change Lists" to https://hinterlandgames.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/sections/360002707811-News-and-Updates. Could you please explain how are you storing the keybindings both in Windows and Linux, and what has been changed this patch? I run the game with Steam Proton and had no issues with keybindings before the event came out.
  7. Hi, Have you tried sharing the synced files between the two OS? I'm running TLD win version with Proton and have a symlink set up between the Linux sync directory and the WINE prefix's sync directory, while running the Linux Steam version.
  8. Hello, Could you specify what does not work for you with Proton and which distro/version? I'm able to play the game and the new event on Proton with a few issues: no arrow on map in the event, and my keybindings revert to default every time I start up the game.
  9. I have to rebind all my keys every time I start up the game since the event came out, it's very frustrating.
  10. Hmm, with Fires prevent freezing set to yes I don't really feel that danger. IMHO it feels like a self defeating thing to set that, because you can walk around with 2 sticks as fuel reserve and be fine. I get that they want all game events to be inclusive for all players, but WE felt like a stroll in the park after Interloper.
  11. Can you post the status screen for that survivor? It's a bit hard to imagine what have you lost? Both hands, feet, ears and nose?
  12. Hi, Have you tried Glorious Eggroll's custom Proton build? It's usually ahead of the official build in fixes/features.
  13. Hi, I have the same issue. Deleting/renaming said mp4 is a workaround. However the same error occurs when the game is trying to play an mp4, like when you start a wintermute episode. I suspect this would also work: https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install , but I haven't tried.
