I must say I hated those missions in the Death Stranding. But here in Great Bear you could leave the shipment somewhere far from fire and it will be fine. Unless there are gourmand wolfs trying to get new experience and taste the icecream.

Any idea whether pancakes can be prepared as drunk pancakes? I mean mix the maple syrup with hint of rum? Using pure rum would be death sentence since pancakes can soak so much liquid. But adding a hint could be doable.

What a coincidence. We had a rabbit for lunch that day as well. My favourite is to put it on a onion bed and give him blanket from bacon and mushrooms. And I mean really thick layers of onion and mushrooms. Bacon is not so thick. After all, we are preparing rabbit, not a pig.

Not sure about toast. Maybe if you like your toast with honey, you will like this. The maple syrup is like not so sweet honey with hint of nuts (to me). And tea. I think so.

@ajb1978Thank you for your bravery. On the other hand we have chicory + roasted sugar beet + roasted rye and roasted barley mixture in our country. It has no caffeine so it can be served to kids. Man I drank liters of it when I was young. It definitely is no coffee, but it tastes good with milk.

I swallow every time I put a steak on the rock in TLD and take it when it is done. I am simple taste man. Steak with little salt and thats it. When I have sweet tooth, I would eat pancakes. Simple pancakes with more than 0,05l of maple syrup. Oh yes I think that the ammount is too little. I like them swimming.

BTW can you imagine taste of steak prepared on the rock when coal is used in the fire?

I havent got mauled for a long time. Bears are big and easy to avoid untill one want to hunt them. Recently I developed a revolver hunting method, where one place revolver bullet into bear head while sitting on bear not accessible point and then wait till the bear demise. It was working well. But it seems like bears learned how to climb a tree. Here I was. sitting on the tree on FM. I aimed and shot bear from revolver. I expected bear cry and running off. Bear was crying and running. Suddenly I thought "Why it is running to the tree root?" And second thought was. "OH MY, I dont have time to switch to flare gun, I will try my luck with hip shot". Well it costed me 60% of health and 50% of outer layer garment. Pilot jacket and hat was the main pain, because leather does not grow on trees.

OK seems like no one has the answer for question if the decay is surface dependant or not. Once I got with mine travois to the CH, I will test it. It has nice long road, mostly not covered with snow and ice. Should be pretty easy to get matching routes.

I used the travois for first time in the game. It was great. Packed with 20kg of "essential things" moved from the Vacant depot in Transfer Pass to the Broken Railroad Maintenance Yard. in no time. Yes of course there were few unloading/loading parts. But the movement speed... Great. I have a question:

The wear and tear. Is it somehow connected to the surface you are walking on? I did not perform any measurement, but it seemed to me, the degradation is faster on non snow/ice surface. For example going through the tunnels seemed harsher on the condition than going on snowy paths.

Not sure whether it is TLD influence or I am just getting older. When I started fire before, I just did not care how much wood I put in it. Just let it roar. Now it is different. I want it to burn clean but as long as possible with minimum wood. Plus I always try to light it with one match (pretty sucessful lately, I guess I finally get level 5 IRL).

Plus I added little bensin lighter to my EDC. It should be well sealed so no evaporation.

I think designers did incredible work. But I will not stay in ZoC and mines a minute longer then necessary. The region is well made, but I play TLD mainly for the calm beutiful, yet mighty and harsh nature. The tainted, scarved face which is in ZoC is not for my taste. I just feel uneasy there.

Never have I ever used the balistic vest. To be true I wore it for getting it out from the prison first time. But then... too heavy. Apart from that I have used every tool game offers. Untill now. I did not crafted the travois yet. But I am gonna to.

BTW as someone wrote that he never got dysentery. I just sipped once the yellow water on voyager difficulty and was rewarded with it.

Yes the story seems to be going to Perseverance Mills while the survival tales are now in Langston mine. I just wonder if those are two stews brewing separately or there is any connection.

We have now see that there is the machine. And it is still operational during aurora. Is it the machine the key why common aurora fries everything electric and turn wildlife mad? Maybe Will and Astrid will have to disable the thing to restore nature balance. But if it is so, whats in the hardcase? If there were some explosives in Blackrock, there might be some on other places? Maybe the hardcase contain some keys to disable the machine. Or Astrid is bigger badass than we thought and the case contains mini-nuke (in which case the Langond mine could be more toxic than before).

And where is Rudiger? Is his mind in the machine, driving wildlife mad every aurora night? Or as we got glimpse he is walking like Nightwalker on the Great Bear?

I finished the Burried Echo. I immediatelly departed from the ZoC to the Vacant Depot, which I like. The ZoC has an uneasy feeling for me. All those spillages, fumes, poisoned wolfes. I thought I would go somewhere nice with sea, sun, deers etc. But I just remembered, that there are 10 maple saplings curing in the ZoC. Damn it seems like I am going back right away. Plus I think that I did not discovered midst of the map. It seems like there was path or two. Sigh.
