  1. There's a bear near Waterfall Cave too. We're pals tho. 🐻😄
  2. It happened in a similar way for me with the most NW cave in Timberwolf Mountain. Waterfall Cave.
  3. It's obvious why a life threatening disease forum would have very strict rules, but should it be so for one about a fictional/virtual experience? (Beautifully rendered and developed by people who take their work seriously, no doubt) I tend towards the lighter side on comments, and like to encourage fellow fan artists if I can, but I also understand that attempts at humor are never going to be welcome by everyone. That's life. But hey, I think the sound of crickets is very funny sometimes. If someone says nothing but, "I agree." it may not add anything for you, but for them? A sense of inclusion maybe? ..which is better than a sense of rejection. If forum threads are/were essays from contributing authors, to be edited for publication, then I could see a reason for cutting what's not needed.
  4. A brutally harsh lesson, but I liked it. The momentary hanging on before the fall, especially. 🙂👍 In re to your execution: it's fine. If you're concerned, you can always edit/cut into a third or fourth draft, but you're giving a good account with the short, short story format.
  5. Out of wood, but successful night of vampire fishing. Heading in to sleep it off before it gets too nice out.
  6. Dark screenshot, but in game it was a fun night on the Coastal ice. Gloomy atmosphere with an ample supply of wood for the fishing hut.
  7. If Great Bear Island was an element randomly placed into the Stormworks ocean, I'd definitely be crashing planes onto it all the time because it's a interesting place for the story. In survival mode you can make up your own story, but it's still about what happens on Great Bear Island. If it turns out you eventually rule the island, then you'd have to go on that way for years probably, since there are no fungal infections from breathing desiccated mouse droppings to finish you off... (yet 🤨). It could drive you mad. Exploring the unknown is one of the best parts of the experience to be sure, but fleeting, alas. 🦨 🦌
  8. Well done. I like Coastal Highway very much. I can imagine a survivor painting these as a way to counter cabin fever. between firewood gathering, of course 🙂
  9. 2 years, 27 days, 13 hours, 11 minutes later, and one still has to walk back across the trestle in the fog. Must be the overwhelming allure of Mystery Lake. 😀🦌🐻🐟
  10. I've almost walked off a cliff in Hushed River Valley, but also had some harrowing success descending the rocks (sprains - off).
  11. Oooo, a live bear bedroll would be cozy indeed... 😄 I'll just make a collar and leash out of cured leather and a climbing rope.
  12. Thanks, PancakeLady. I was busy harvesting and cooking a moose, using the back part of the cave to warm myself and store meat. Had to sack out for a while and woke up to old snoozy there. 😄
  13. If it's ever decided to allow players to enter The Long Dark as a wolf, either of these would be great for a setup screen. 🐺👍 Nice work, JMK.
