Seriously, when admins lock a topic they don't do it so that you can vent your frustrations on other earlier posts. Just wait a little, find a different game that interests you, the next update will come out when it's ready.

So this is still the case, for me at least. I checked on my Xbox One, and that is on 2.27. Is there a reason Xbox Play Anywhere/Microsoft Store is still out of date?

Not the first time this has happened iirc.  When Tales was first released on XB, Play Anywhere was behind for months.  I can't remember if we ever found out if it was Hinterland or Microsoft that was at fault.
