As European not really interested in Halloween. We have our prob 1000 years old customs just before 40 day of fasting till Easter

Ahem, Hallowe'en traditions are European in origin - specifically Ireland, Scotland and England - and as a resident of Ireland I can't let this stand! Oíche Shamhna shona daoibh!

I hope it's still celebrated there because England has more or less given up on it..  sadly...  I haven't seen any trick or treaters in years.

Oh yes, Halloween is a Big Deal in Ireland! The traditions that began here, like turnip carving, were taken to places like the US and then imported back, so we carve pumpkins now not turnips, but there is still a real sense of ownership of it here! It's celebrated more than in England, I agree. Fireworks is a big part of it which to me as an English migrant just feels a week early, lol
