New Achievements

Hello, 

I was thinking the other day that it would be great if You could implement new achievements to the existing list. Its been a while now since the game is out and in the meantime there were many updates both to story and survival. 

I think it would be great to add some NEW achievements to the existing list. It would be a really nice addition to the recent DLC and new ones to come. 

There are plenty of options to go with such as for example: 

- Finish Signal Void 

- Cook all frontier food/recipes

- Shoot a bear/moose with fire hardened arrow

- Collect all memento caches

- Hunt x amount of rabbits with fire hardened arrows

and so on.

I support this fully. They can even add a few more like survey every location in Blackrock, the Forsaken Airfield, and their transition zones.

Honestly I greatly dislike "Achievements." They add meaningless tasks to artificially extend the playtime of a game. Not to mention they can easily be spoofed so they don't even have real-world bragging rights. I'd much prefer more meaningful content within the game, that encourages you to play out of desire, not out of some OCD to complete a checklist.

Idk if i want achievments locked behind a paywall for DLC tbh.

 

Tbh I felt miffed when they replaced the 200 days survived with that 500 days survived achiement. I had already deleted the save and 500 days isnt difficult by any means, but is REALLY time consuming to purposely get. Especially when i couldve been almost halfway there!

I think it depends on the achievement. For example, I thought that 'faithful cartographer' was great for this game. I love the exploration aspect of the game, but I don't think that I would have sought out every listed location without the incentive.

I love achievements, so, yes!
