I'd like to see a few climbing routes on these rocky and snow/ice steep faces, something like the ice-climbing that Lara Croft does in various Tomb Raiders.  Perhaps HTL might bring it in if they do a TLD sequel.

Gotcha. No, it isn't possible. It seems all that's needed to give access is a log bridge parallel to the existing one.

When doing a second vista polaroid at the wolf jaws overlook area, I could see the inaccessible plateau.  I know I looked at how to approach it and I marked my closest approach.  It might be possible to get a little bit farther but I was disinclined to try as going any further did not look possible.  

This would look like the kind of place where a "free climbing route" to/from it would seem reasonable at some point.

Yup. There's no way up currently. There is a closer approach where the narrow canyon is very narrow. But since you can only jump down, not up, a log bridge is necessary. We'll just have to wait until Hinterland makes the area accessible.

So if the game spawns your polaroid N of the Climber's Cave in AC you are SOL for finishing the polaroids?
