Pleasant Valley Aurora My new base camp. Just love pleasant valley so much for a base camp. I think for me, desolation point is my favourite map but with Tales, it's just so far away from everything that dragging stuff back gets old pretty fast.

I recently died reading. This is why I prefer video game stories to reading books man, theyre dangerous. I jest, but Im trying to unlock feats and such so I thought, ill read outside the door and then it counts as spending time outside, what a good idea. Anyway it was really mild when I started reading too so I thought great, Ill read for 6 hours it'll be fine. It was not fine, I just got the faded into the long dark message, im guessing a blizzard hit me or something lmao. What a dumb move.

Mystery Lake Fishing hut aurora. Thought I could make it back to camp office before it got too dark and cold, I was wrong but, I was rewarded with beautiful scenery of the aurora over the frozen lake. Slept in the fishing hut hiding from aurora wolves.

@conanjaguar I am indeed, a massive has several N7 hoodies fan. I have done a bit of mass effect fanart and thought I was being clever with my name (lol). Im not much a krogan in this game though, more like a Quarian with a hole in her suit constant red alerts. Ha

I got mine in the platelayers shortcut or the cave after it I cant remember which but it was one of those - I am playing a new custom mode, not an existing one. I started over for it.

Hey everyone. Disaster player here from Wales. Im 39 have an 18 year old teen and have been playing The Long Dark for quite a while! I play disastrously, I often get mauled by bears, moose, and somehow manage to survive. Im okay with wolves but those big ones dont half sneak up on me. My favourite mode is custom, I play basically everything interloper but with guns and more loot because I have a thing for collecting items like Im actually playing food hoard simulator. I will drag all the peanut butters from TWM to DP if the mood takes me. My favourite bases are pleasant valley homestead and the lighthouse in DP. The lighthouse in DP is so out of the way, but its just so darn pretty, and hearing the coast mmmm. i absolutely LOVE the new cooking mechanics and have had so much fun finding and making all the recipes. Hilarious really, I hate cooking in real life. Heres a picture reward of my current base of cooking supplies for you reading this post about me! Looking forward to engaging with you all. Shep.
