  1. Found the place it unlocks ( I think ), is this office in the middle of the path, entering from the circle'd hole with the lake in the middle. Inside there was a rifle and ammo for rifle and revolver. I believe this is the one since its also closer to the place you find the key.
  2. Good, I'll go check one of the offices. I remember one cache box, but perhaps there's a second one. Thank you!
  3. I collected a golden key in the mines, but I don't remember which key it is. It doesn't open the Foreman's Doors so I believe it's another key. Is there an option to see which key items I've collected. Its not on notes, it's not on collections, its not on picked items. Does anyone remember the name of that key?
  4. Everything is sold out, what a joke. It's not even 30 minutes and nothing is left in the store. When restock?
  5. Greetings everyone, I'm the person that wrote a post complaining about the cooking system and the unskipable sensitivity screen which I'm still surprised players defended aparently to keep it pas it was: unskipabble. However, despite the most recent updates I believe the right thing to do is to post a follow up y thanking Hinterland for listening! 1. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR GIVING US THE OPTION TO SKIP THE SENSITIVITY SCREEN!! Nuff said. Thank you. Thank you!! 2. Dropping 0% status cooking items - still - appears to be a viable method for providing options for players that wish to use them. So, for stalker, I was able to gather enough materials in Milton's Town, Gas Station and Paradise Meadows Farm. While the 0% status are still an issue for storing them in cointainers, I hope the devs allows us to continue making these dishes even with 0% status items, which is the point of it all: to have fun with the game. I understand that some people may try to spoil the enjoyment for others by complaining about being able to cook 0% status goods, but remember that this is a game that we are supposed to enjoy and have fun with. If you don't like a feature, don't make it unavailable to others. At least I can see all my loot and know I can use the DLC and enjoy exploring. - Thank you Hinterlands for listening!
  6. I think the "improved cooking system" was intended by the developers for players with 1 - 50 survival days. However, many devoted players have 100-500 survival day sandboxes like us. I know it's survival, but it's also a game where you can have fun and appreciate the features. I believe we all would be benefitted from reasonable and slow decay rates for these ingredients (its also in winter so cold temperature may help to it...?). It's quite ironic to design a promising cooking system but not being able to use entirely with 0% decay because ✨ its a survival game ✨.
  7. This is a huge relief since the developers designed a fairly innovative system that is much too excellent to not take advantage of. Perhaps, unknowingly, they have begun something that will considerably improve The Long Dark's crafting and culinary systems...? That would be really encouraging!
  8. I confirm they exist. I found a flock in Mountain Town, behind the Gas Station.
  9. In short 1. The disclaimer is important, just allow us to skip it please with a player action like: "Press any button to continue", please!
  10. I think we can all agree that the addition of an optional button to bypass the screen would be a huge quality of life improvement, even if we don't need to engage in pointless virtue signaling about how necessary the disclaimer is, we all know its important and is there for a reason. The suggestion - and reason of why I started this post - is to provide insights on the importance to have options: which is a "press any button to continue" option, or at least make it such that hitting Esc or Space allows us to bypass it. I think the time between "start the game and being ready to play" is a significant aspect in most games nowadays.
  11. I don't want to be forced to see the whole messages each time I start my sessión. We need to have the option to skip the message the same way we can skip the legal advice. That allows Hinterland to cover their legal obligations and we have the option to skip those messages, it gets annoying and incredibly time-wasting.
