Speaking of fishing, I think there should rather be a more complicated fishing procedure instead of just loading circle and your cart gets filled up with fish. Perhaps some sort of screen with animated fishies and you have to yank a mouse when the fish bites?⚓🐟

I remember crafting a lot of tackles, but as you level up in fishing, multiple fishing tackles are futile. I've been able to fish like 12 hours with single tackle upon achieving mastery. There are still like a dozen unused tackles sitting on my coastal highway drawer somewhere..

And so it begins.

Maybe what you see other players post is videos at higher resolution and then scaled down for YouTube?

Lee, don't get your hopes up too much though, it's not a full fledged mine that has many levels like the one you wander around in wintermute. This one is a smaller version. Still full of goid stuff though.

Y'know, makes me wonder why some homes have flat screens in coastal and telecom office would have something ancient. Could it be Hinterland got confused and messed up game time frames?

Maybe you could find @piddy3825 and spend some time with him in the cabin. I am a little worried because I've seen him do all sorts of dangerous things. Latest endeavors involved microwaving flammable materials during Aurora. It would be a terrible tragedy if he accidentally sets house on fire and burns half of milton town to ashes. Perhaps you two can have a good time together and watch some twilight zone when the power is on🙂👍

In my experience, stuff in containers can reach ruined state and will stay ruined in the container, just like in your inventory, but if you were to put something ruined into the container, then it immediately disappears. This is why I became puzzled in ash canyon first arrival when I put something ruined into container behind the fishing hut and lost it.

That's not what I meant, but thank you! What I was trying to say is certain survival mode features don't work very well in wintermute for obvious reasons.

This is a natural problem a survivor runs into when playing wintemute. If you've spent some considerate time in survival sandbox and then tackle wintermute, there is a very strong possibility of chronic survitis flare ups during story gameplay. 

There have been rather severe instances of survivors not even being able to move when kicked out of Jeremiah's cabin due to accumulating too much useless junk along the way. 

We must remember, most of the stuff you hoard is not needed in wintermute. You are not to live there hundred days during the missions. It's all very quick once and done. Then move on.
