Stinky socks

Mates, my Astrid has been going through a lot lately. One evening, she began to see visions of heaven. It was a delightful day, warm sun and a gentle breeze.

A perfect day, not a care in the world, she thought, only to begin waking up feeling so cold!!! She was beginning to freeze and if not woken up in time, her dream would be eternal..

Then the nightmares began a few weeks later after being bitten by wolves and infection started spreading. She dreamed there was a nuclear war and she was the last survivor in moscow...

It was a terrifying experience!!

Not to worry friend. You faded into the long dark the most painless and calm death when you otherwise could have died of hunger, or worse, in your sleep as you froze during the night!!

Well to be honest, there are a lot of pointless activities in the long adrk. 

"What is the meaning of life?"-astrid yelled on a cliff. "Answer me!!", she continued. But as the sound of echoes dwindled, all but a quiet breeze was heard along with an occasional wolf howl in the distance.

This isn't very hard. One can easily pull up task manager to see what's pegged to 100%. That would be your bottleneck. Besides, a benchmark isn't going to tell you what you need to improve.

What about entering a home? Or a shed?

That's important,  since Will or Astrid don't have to. It's a design consideration, because game is so addictive people will miss out their potty times during gaming otherwise.

Wow, I remember someone complaining about loading times! From a disc, of course!

It's taking relatively long to load even from an ssd for me on cutting edge X58 platform high end ultra maximum computational unit!

Another question, what was Astrid doing in the dam? Wasn't ep3 taking place in PV? Did you use winding river to get here? I thought hinterland blocked off other transition zones with "rockslides." Sorry, didn't watch whole stream from the link and mute was on.

You must be close to perseverance mills to be getting such strong wifi!!

That would require a monitor that supports such resolution and quite possibly, a stronger graphics card, which at the moment is quite difficult to obtain at reasonable price.

That would actually turn the rabbit into a decoy and attract wildlife. You only want to drop the rabbit from inventory. Don't drop as a decoy if you don't want to attract predators.

Speaking of point and click, GOG is giving away free syberia 1and2. It's for pc. 

There is also game without enemies actually, that might suit certain folks. It's called "the first tree". I have it on epic. Haven't played yet.

Well, that is correct. Mystery lake side is higher than winding river side, but the wall separating the two is awfully high! Usually that wall isn't much higher than maximum water level. And the water isn't supposed to reach any higher than railroad tracks, so we can use that as a point of reference.

I don't know,  it just feels like the dam engineering is a bit off. Must submit ticket to hinterland.😂
