Episode 4?  Well, it was ok. A bit confused as to where it's going if I'm honest.

Totally agree on ep4. I've seen instances where story feels like it goes all over the place to be summarized in the final stages. Personally, I'm not a big fan of such approach. In any case, there's a lot of materials that have to go back together for the final episode if it is to make sense. Not sure how hinterland can pull this off.

Absense of that, what's that guys name? was a bit disappointing. I remember always looking forward to a bit of a chat with him somewhere in the middle of my travels. That gas station and just before you enter broken railroad warehouse, meeting him was always a refreshment. Didn't feel like I was totally alone in the wilderness.

Don't get me wrong, alone is the name of the game of TLD, but when it comes to story mode, any NPC is a welcome sight.

  2. Howdy! What's your favorite episode in wintemute? Looking back, me thinks I enjoyed #1 the most. From the hangar, to the crash site, first night in the cave, trying to figure out survival and to the descend into the mountain town, there was so much happening, and in the end, the epic departure towards the rope descend- that was most epic.

Episode 2 was perhaps close second as I enjoyed the company of retired solid snake. It was somewhat heartbreaking, leaving him behind.

Episode 3 was great, but somewhat annoying trying to care for those injured passengers. I wish it was optional and you had an option to let them freeze. The rest of the episode three was quite good.

Episode 4, not sure how I feel about it. Maybe I've played too much survival at this point before attempting episode 4? I can't say I was overly excited about it, especially towards the finish. It wasn't bad. That bad guy was very bad though!

Anyways, what's your take? Ps- multiple choice available if you're tied between certain episodes. Also, votes are private in case you'd like to keep your opinion in closed form.

  3. Hello friends,  stinky here.

I have been posting a lot of useless and unconstructive stuff here. Also, I have posted harsh criticism towards general public and/or individuals when my opinion differed. I would like to apologize for any grief caused.

Since my thoughts were posted publicly, it is only appropriate to post an apology in the same manner to undo any upset. Please accept it in all sincerity.

And no, I'm not trying to make a confession, like before jumping off a bridge or whatever.🙄😂 It's time I decided to get more serious(grown up) in general and pay attention to what I say. Spending a lot of time here, posting garbage, definitely doesn't help me.

G'night and stay hydrated. Reishi tea FTW!

Why do you cache the loot in a small number of places?

It is a much better solution to have your resources spread throughout the the whole area.

Agreed, I can stop by any area and even wait out blizzard before going out hunting.

  5. Probably been playing 500 day pilgrim survival run and got too bored. Good on them! Looks like they used four bullets. Smart move to shoot off both legs to make sure they don't run for help in case they don't die.

  6. 😂 the wrath of the lord!! Arghh!!!! Like the sound of many blizzards!!

I actually agree, it's ridiculous. Even wooden boxes can be torn down by the mighty Astrid hands! Can you imagine the power of her hugs?

I am simply blown away by the size and quality of the ongoing releases

Map size? Yes, it's big, but it is mostly walking and collecting things.

I wish every game production company handled things this way.

I hope not😁can you imagine starting a campaign and waiting a few years for the next mission?

  8. ...you wish you had or could do in real life?

Another few days and this forum will likely be a barren desert, so let's take a few moments to soak in each other before we all disappear, playing episode 4.

》》Heres mine: To be able to climb 50 feet of rope up the cliff with 90 pounds on your back. I wonder if doctors and pilots can do that?🤔

  9. Uh🤐thank you for heads up, dear Sir, but I already played ep123 when I initially found TLD back in december(epic giveaway)😊. Shortly afterwards, I found out that the story was not complete at the time and, well, I got damaged..

I guess, since I haven't faithfully refrained my body from story mode altogether, it might not be worth the hassle and pain to begin the path of denial halfway in.

I'm sorry, is this making any sense?
