This is story mode, not survival. You are on a mission to find answers and find Astrid, not on vacation.

There is a separate mode that you want for curing pelts, crafting whatever you want, exploring maps, and gathering supplies. Enter: survival mode.

Totally agreed, I lost mine, haven't touched tlTLD in a long time quite possibly to maximum extent due to lack of updates. Very depressing.

I've actually brought over some good steak there and plenty of sodas, so when I visit, my stay there is fabulous! Anyone in the area, shout out...eh, literally, so I can pick off the wolves in the yard. We can have good steak together and listen to some music during Aurora. Oh, and bring laptop, I forgot mine somewhere in mystery lake I think.

Well, it is froze! It's very cold outside, much colder to be honest than a regular freezer! No idea why meat goes bad super fast. I can understand if you stash your meat inside, but out in the yard? I don't know..

In addition to one shot sharpening, whetstone should last a lot longer than they do now.🗡☠
