  1. Yes that would be absolutely amazing ! Unfortunetly that list would be looong. And I swear if there was an “ADD MULTIPLAYER” on there, Id go crazy.
  2. That’s unusual never saw someone that made a base in fish camp. My first choice in coastal highway is the Quonset garage. How do you deal with fire though ?
  3. Can’t argue with that, it is satisfying to return to the farm after a long day of looting.
  4. Extra meat, hell maybe you could even make a hat with the pelt.😂😂
  5. Jesus Christ this post has turned into some sort of Star Trek convention 😂😂. I do not understand anything
  6. A setting is probably not even necessary. If you want you could even kill it. Your choice. About a dog being weaker than a wolf, that is without a doubt correct. And if they were stronger, it would probably be “OP” no ?
  7. This will probably trigger some old players, but I want to talk about the possibility of some sort of animal companion. This as already been discussed quite a few times and opinions mostly divide into three ideas: 1- wolf/dog pups- basically you find a wolf or dog pup and you help it grow to become an adult. 2- Wolf taming- You try to befriend a wolf by giving it food and other means. 3- Finding a fully grown dog- You find an already grown dog and befriend it. The first two ideas are completely impractical. Either because of realism, gameplay or lore problems. Idea 3 on the other hand, still holds a little potential. It could probably be implemented, albeit with effort. Before discussing how such a system would work, we have to ask ourselves if this would be good for the game in the first place. The main argument against such an implementation is that it conflicts with the atmosphere of isolation and that it goes against the game principals set by the devs. I disagree, I believe the addition of something other than yourself, would enhance not only the TLD experience but also the isolation that is so characteristic of this game. But how would something that supposedly would be your friend, make you even more lonely ? Well think of it this way, in the same way that the survivor you play as will inevitably die, the same would go for your loyal companion. Imagine you are the survivor, you find yourself a dog, you befriend it, you have experiences with it and suddenly one day you wake up and it’s dead silent body is laying near your bed. Can you imagine what that would feel like ? True loneliness and isolation cannot be experienced if you do not taste companionship first. Well this is only my opinion, I do not actually expect anything related to a “dog” be added to the game. That is why I did not post this in the wish list... although it is kind of a wish of mine😀. What I want to hear is YOUR and the community’s opinion on this. So please if you have anything to say, bad or good, share it. Thank you
  8. The seal interest me the most, never thought of an aquatic animal to hunt in this game, it’s quite the unique idea. 👍
  9. Forget it, this game is not made for multiplayer. The devs have made it clear multiple times that they do not intend to implement any sort of multiplayer. To be honest it’s for the best, I can understand the appeal but it’s just not what TLD is, and it would be WAY to much of a pain to implement
  10. It doesn’t seem to me that the geo storm is constant. It just happens regularly, destroying the electronics in that time. Just a little curiosity I want to share: If you were in the world of TLD and you were exposed to an geo storm capable of powering computers and lights, you’d be completely fried by radiation, no wonder the survivor always dies, he probably has cancer all over his body ahahha 😂

    CANDLES !

The harvesting of bone and fat and their uses have been many times proposed. But yes candles would be an interesting and useful addition to the game.

Well if it’s that much of a bother there could always be an option to turn it off or not outside custom. But really I cannot understand why someone would hate this a lot. I mean it’s just something to adapt to, the same way you adapt to the weather outside, with the added bonus of being pretty cool and interesting. I don’t think adding only new regions and some items will make this game appealing to new players. But again this may not be what the creators see for the game, and that’s totally fine, they’ve made an amazing job so far. I just hope that they’ll add something completely new that’s good for the game.

Totally fair and definitely reasonable. Could just be toggled in custom game settings. Well we disagree on this, it’s normal. But in the end, it al comes to the devs and what their vision of the game is, which I’m not certain alignes with this suggestion, so if it doesn’t, it should be discarded. Either way thank you for your criticism.
  14. Aside from the gaping hole in the ceiling yeah ! It’s a cozy little place to stay, that serves the perfect stopgap before starting your climb !
  15. Camp office was the place I always stayed before trappers, but for me it’s a little too messy and even has a damn body in it sometimes

Indeed, the challenges do bring a new light to the game. But by adding this sort of system to survival mode it would also give you a little bit of a reason to continue surviving. Right now when I see those 500 day runs made by other people, I don’t think “wow they must be extremely skilled players”no, I think “Wow they must be extremely pacient people to play what is at some point a boring game”. If someone didn’t want to play whith this they could always probably turn it off.

Mhh... avalanche would be a little to hard to implement , anything that actively changes the map isn’t very viable. I’m trying to think of another way to imprison you in a region, but I’m not coming up with anything...
  18. Well, then it’s set. Flashlights are garbage

    Dynamic world

This as already been discussed, but I believe it is important to bring this conversation to light. The world of great beat is completely unchanging, aside from the temperature, every single day is kinda the same. What is proposed is certain “events”, that spice up a little the gameplay, these could come in many forms but the one that most interests me is this one: The big blizzard: basically at a random number of days, a long and violent blizzard sweeps through great bear, making temperatures drop drastically, to the point where even inside you could be at risk of freezing. Before the storm you’d be able to see flocks of birds flying away... and in the days bafore it hits the weather would be absolutly perfect, not a single cloud in the sky, it would only be the calm before the storm, literally. I believe this would give something to look forward too, I mean you never do that in this game, it’s always the present you worrie about not the future. When it comes to other events there are probably a meriad of other cool ideas, I just don’t have the imagination to invent them, so please if you have any other ideas share them ! Thank you and a merry Christmas to all
  20. I guess it would give a use to that damn useless thing... but the idea of using batteries for crafting seems nice maybe certain electric devices could be made though I’m not sure if that’s very lore friendly
  21. Dont think theres a lot of info on that one. Though im sure it Will at some point in the future be released
  22. The hunters lodge is absolutly awsome, it just has one problema for me... its way to messy and it takes a long while to get ris of all that trash.. the stove is a godsend that I know and the game right Next to it is also pretty nice.
  23. I havent explored that region yet but it seems like a trappers with a Gerar view. Is it clean and neat inside?
