Beachcombing is a common practice among some players who collect items that appear on the shoreline of coastal regions. My questions are: 1° - These items have a reason to be there or were it just introduced to help players who have already exhausted all nonrenewable resources? 2° - If there is a story behind these items, where did it come from? Had it come from the mainland? Or from some plane that fell into the sea because of The Flare? Or even from the ships going south described by Barbara Quincy in the buffer memory BARBARA.doc at Quonset Garage? 3° - By the way, have these ships made it to the mainland?

In Episode 3 will we play with Astrid since the plane crash in Milton or will the episode begin in Pleasant Valley? If we're going to start episode 3 currently in the valley, will there at least be a intro movie showing how she got there?

A 2-weeks trip in Hushed River Valley to enjoy some blizzards.

Question 1 In the first Buffer Memory in Quonset Gas Station Barbara says: "More and more ships passing, heading south. what will they find on the Mainlan, I wonder." In Desolation Point we can clearly see a mountain range looking south. Is that the Mainland or another islands? Question 2 We know that Great Bear is a fictional island, but, if it were real, where on the canadian coast would it be located?

Hi Raph, I really love this game, congratulations for you and your team. I have two questions: 1 - If the Carter Dam has been disable for decades, from where electricity comes when the Aurora appears in the sky? Does the Great Bear Island have any other source of energy? 2 - The crashed plane hit the Timberwolf Moutain due to some problem during the flight or would it land on the island and ended up hitting the mountain? The plane had an electric pane during the First Flare like Mackenzie's plane or this accident happened at another time? If yes, was it before or after the Mackenzie accident?

Ok, I'm finishing now. After looting MT I found more two pies, let's call it a night. Thanks Hinterland for this awesome event, the experience in the game and here in the Forums was amazing, I loved it. Please do more events like that.

Started Day 4 in that cave in WR and decide to stay there until get the badge, but I got so bored. So, I went to Carter Dam and looted the place, after I decide to go for a walk in ML and look for some pies. Found the first pie in that broken building near the trailers in logging camp and a JOL in Destroyed Lookout. There was nothing whorty in Camp Office and I found the second pie in Trappers. Now I'm going to Milton.

I began Day 4 in that cave in WR, moved to Carter dam, looted the place and now I'm going for a walk in ML. I already got my badge.

Day 4 is so boring, I have nothing to do, only sit down and wait 2 hours watching the blizzard from my cave

We're all looking forward to Episode 3, but I'm going beyond. Wintermute is the Season One, composed of five episodes, of the Story Mode in The Long Dark. Do you have plans for a Season Two or even more?
