Despawning Rabbit by harvesting the meat first

So i get me the meat from 2 rabbits and then they are just despawn.. without have a chance to get the hide or the guts. Sometimes they are landing in the firepit Oo. The animation is nice but the old way to harvest corpes or meat bags was way better

Known BUG,  harvest it from the inventory as a workaround.

Maybe look around a bit for the carcass. I suspect the bug to be a placing issue. I found my rabbit, that I harvested on an ice surface about 25m from the harvesting site.
Oh, and it may be a bit smaller in size too.

It’s in the patch notes it’s a known bug that should be addressed in the Jan bug patch
