Additional The Long Dark DLC

I know this is jumping the gun, but are there any thoughts about future DLC for The Long Dark after TFTFT or is this a "once and done" (albeit, over many months) DLC and the only update similar to Cyberpunk 2077?

There has been a TON of discussion and speculation.  We can only hope HL will keep TLD going (in one way or another).

Personally I hope they don't do it simply because the price of the game will become very steep for newcomers, which may turn them away

It's already gonna go from 30 euros to 60 when the DLC is finished, I don't think many players will be willing to drop 80 or even 90 bucks on this game

Yes, DLCs do add to the overall price of the game, but they are optional.

God ive played probably 1000+ hours of this game. The game could be $100 and that would still be less than $0.10 per hour. Personally ive never gotten this much out of a game before. Maybe the newcomers need to be indoctrinated better….

Judging by the success of first DLC, the apparent focus on multiple new projects, and words about finalizing TLD, the answer seems No.
