Hot water bottles

Would be a great item to use for sleeping outdoors - it could boost temps by 5-10C

Also a pretty common item to find in cold climates so would fit with the mood of the setting.

The suggestion appaers nice. There could be chemical heating pad that could rarely be found in first-aid kits and that would warm longer. Or you can heat the water on the fire yourself, but the bottle under the survivor's body would cool down in less than an hour in the severe cold.

A thermos would be nice, a way to hold coffee, or teas and keep it warm at the cost of extra weight. Maybe it could hold 2 teas or coffees.

When I winter camp I heat rocks by the fire, then put them under/around my bedding just before I sleep. Rocks will radiate heat for quite some time, and you can have 2 sets which you rotate. Just my 2 cents.

Same here, we've always heated up rocks by the campfire in the winter time and then wrapped them up in an old towel before sticking them into our sleeping bags 
before turning in for the night.  Toasty warm.  

Considering how we can pick up stones in the game, I think it would be a great idea if our survivors could do something similar.  Maybe put 3 or 4 stones in your cooking pot and warm them up before going to bed.  Just might be the difference between freezing to death in your sleep and making it thru one more night!

Lol, my dad used to warm up our ski boots as kids by putting warm rocks in our boots before we would leave the cabin to go snow skiing.
Now, I just use the chemical heaters I get at Big 5 sporting goods...
