Mathis is a shapeshifter?

Alright I now what you are thinking but hear me out. Mathis in the end of the second episode and the fourth episode is diffrent. Mathis in the fourth episode is like an actual human. He is SO realistic. But the second one... undetailed and ugly. I know that this proably has nothing to do with the story but... When I saw Mathis in the fourth episode I was like:

-Well... you became handsome..?

 

Or is this a sign... is Mathis a...

I noticed that too. He looks more detailed in the fourth episode. But I didn't think they changed very much, they still look very similar. They also changed his voice in Episode two when Episode four came out.

I like his new look and voice. Like @Pencilsaid, he looks more detailed. I also noticed that Will sounded more whiny in episode 1-2 but in episode 4 he was more cozy and cool.

Ep. 2 was produced quite a while ago. Back then, Mathis' character was not fully fleshed out, because it appeared only briefly.

When they got to produce Ep. 4, they went into much more detail.

He does look better but I have to say that his former voice sounded better with Gord Marriott as the voice actor. His voice was deeper and it made the character sound more sinister
