so when does BlackRock region become playable in Survival Mode?

Was checking some ingame stats today and saw that BlackRock is now listed as a region.  
So when does it go live on survival?  such a teaser, Hinterland, kinda got my hopes up that it
was coming sooner than later.  Or are we still waiting til December?

The map already appears on Darkwalker challenge map list as well...

But yes, it won't come out until Dec. Probably mid-Dec... or around 10th or so so they have time to patch hotfixes before their holiday break

Just because the map is available in story mode doesn't mean it's ready now. It was very much built for a scripted experience. There will be some changes here and there, they need to build transitions, place wild life and make sure it works correctly, and place items and things like saplings.

The prison area and steam tunnels need some heavy modding indeed... the rest of the map not so much, apart from creating the said transition area, perhaps fixing (removing?) Timberwolf spots and then the usual item tweaks

No offense but you need to work on your reading comprehension skills. 
Every knows that just cause the map is in story mode doesn"t mean its ready for survival yet...

  OP was just asking if it maybe was coming earlier considering it's all ready being referenced in the player journal.  That's all.

We're planning to update Survival mode with the new region later this year. We'll post an update to the forums as soon as more information is available.
