hozz1235
I was getting ready to head up to one of my favorite cooking spots (BI Lighthouse) and said, "Hmm...have I ever explored the other side of the island?" My curiosity paid off!
darkscaryforest
Wow nice! Looks like someone was emptying all their pockets before going for a dip under the ice.
ajb1978
That beachcombing spot is pretty small, but seems to have higher than normal spawn rates. I kind of wonder if they just stacked a bunch of beachcombing spawn radii on top of one another.
Relo
curious as to how much you can actually salvage before plunging thru the weak ice. btw, does it matter what weight is being carried? If you strip down to your skivvies, can you walk go further on the weak ice before falling in?

If you strip down to your skivvies, can you walk go further on the weak ice before falling in? not sure if it helps weight wise, although you will probably move a bit quicker, and more importantly have some dry threads to put on if you do fall through. Nothing worse than getting drenched then having to lug your heavier damp clothes across the ice at a snail's' pace to where you can light a fire! I managed to get it all, which is surprising, because I don't typically beach-comb because I always fall through.

It may be a good idea to strip anyway to avoid soaking and freezing you clothes in the event you fall through however. The thin ice warning is a set 5 seconds (or something along those lines not positive on the exact time)
