Blowing up cars

This was kind of meant as a joke for gits and shiggles, but how about blowing up cars? opening up the gas cover, and dropping a torch or flare into the gas. then you have 2 seconds to run before it explodes. this could kill a creature, but would be useless for hunting, how about halving guts, destroying hide, and having 1 quarter of the meat at low condition. this could scare wolves and bears off, or maybe have a chance to make them go deaf!

How can a suggestion be something that I never want in this game and what I actually would like to see in the game at the same time?

because I didn't say "you still get all the harvestable parts". this would be mainly a last resort to escape from wolves

why? would the gas be frozen?

Actually if the gas tank were mostly empty, and you held open the valve to let some air get in there, you could get an explosion. But it would be instantaneous--you would get caught in the blast and actually suffer the worst of it since you're literally right next to the valve.  If the tank were full and you tossed a flare in, it would sink below the surface of the gasoline and fail to start a fire.  You might get a brief burst of flame as whatever air and gas vapors in the tank quickly flash up, but the fire wouldn't be sustained.

Yes indeed.

To make a car explode (as in damage the car) you'd need a tank filled with petrol vapors (or gas that explodes like propane) and oxigen. You can use it for a quick campfire tho. This is a lighter + petrol; see for yourself.
