This is really often suggested idea, but we have never gotten headwear to craft.  Personally, I would like to see a hat made out of rabbit skin.

Absolutely, lets add the furry little thugs.  :D

Just so long as I can make a muff out of them.  It would be an answer to me leaving supplies just randomly piled about.

I don't know if Raccoons could survive the cold we see in the game but I could be wrong. I'd prefer to see weasels. A weasel could rob your snare, steal your food, and, if you could catch one, make for an amazing liner for your coat.
