Can't craft bow

I have everything I need to craft a survival bow, but I'm not able to craft one. I've been looking at screenshots of the game and it looks like the UI might have changed, which might be why it isn't working. That said, I've installed the latest updates, so I'm not sure what the problem is. I've added a screenshot from my own game and one from a YouTube tutorial. Any advice? Thanks.

Hi there.

Surmising from the list of available recipes, yours is likely a Wintermute game. Unfortunately the bow is not available to Will in episodes 1 & 2. We'll get to use it playing as Dr. Greenwood in the episodes to follow.

You don't just get all the blueprints in story mode.  You discover them. By story-ing.

I looked up blueprints for the bow, but it doesn't seem like you need any according to different sources I've found.

In story mode you do need the blueprints and the blueprint for the bow is not available at all in story mode.

To get the full crafting experience, I'd recommend playing the sandbox.

I would also recommend playing survival mode. When you get the items you need, you only need to be using the workbench to start the process. You have to have a knife, but that shouldn't pose a problem.
