Deer 'Wanna-Be' Mountain Goat

He was doing quite well at scaling the cliff. 

A shot from below ended his dreams.  I tried to harvest the carcass from the rope, but I'm not that good.

He really was doing well! I wonder if he'd have made it all the way up, if you hadn't shot him?

Are you sure it was a deer, and not a climber, dressed up as a deer?

Yep... That looked like an opportunity to learn something new about the game. There aren't a lot of unusual events in The Long Dark. Could've had a chance to learn if one can "herd" deer up to locations where they don't spawn and have a bit of amusement in the process.

I watched him for a while - he would do the occasional "jitter" but didn't move much otherwise.  I actually think this is a guy I scared from above...
