The key word is: Aurora. Bears and Wolves don't flee with fire or flares during an Aurora. I believe the flashlight high beam can do that.

Yup, was easy to find the next bunker in BI after repairing the transmitter in FM. I should just follow the "instructions" in the quest going forward. Silly me, trying to figure things out myself

Oh, okay. So there's no Signal Bunker to find in FA then? Cool, I'll go repair the other transmitters. I assumed there was one in FA and I wanted to find it before I leave as it's a long trip them and back. Thanks for the tip

Yeah, I've found a few hidden caches on the orange frequency but nothing on the blue/green frequency. I'm close to giving up and going to repair the towers in the other regions. Maybe I need to do that? I thought I could repair in FA, find the bunker, and move on. I too feels like it's a bit of a slog; tough to mark your progress in the fog but you can map during the aurora. So I've decided to skip the fog and only go out in the aurora.

Was there a Red box? Normally that will contain the missing loot. I too was taken by surprised by the change. Luckily most of the important tools and such were out on display. I didn't look for the red box as I forgot about that feature before heading for FA.

I wish the radio receiver had longer range. I feel like I've walked all over FA and only found a few caches.
