  1. A simple wood moisture system similar to the coffee/tea heat system of wet, damp, and dry. This could add complexity to fire starting.
  2. Can we get the ability to put sticks in an ice hole at the end of the day to significantly reduce the freeze rate, just like real life? Also ice freeze at 10% or less be able to break with hands. Maybe a wooden club could break it at 50% or less...Non-potable water resource as well, just saying.
  3. How is a flintlock rifle anything like Battlefield?
  4. I’d want a group of spears to be added. Like a sharp stick, an improvised spear, a forged spear, and a flint nap spear. Same goes for knives and arrowheads. Arrows made with those arrowheads should be new items as well. Improvised stuff should be really easy but deal way less damage. Forged gear should be almost as good as the real thing. Maybe add a black smithing skill to have forged stuff get better over time.
  5. I’d like to see wolves and bear more fearful and run further early in the game. Then decrease this as time passes to simulate food becoming harder to come by for them. In the background, as the player kills more animals, they learn humans are still dangerous. If you don’t kill much the predators become more curious...and hungry.
  6. I like the idea. You offset the difference between it and the rifle, make the rifle better. It would also introduce flint to the game which could have a duel use for fire stating when used with scrap metal, or something like that.
  7. I like the idea of removable pack. Also, if you’re packing food, the idea that animals could damage it and eat everything.
  8. I’d like to be able to crawl on my belly. This could make sneaking up on prey easier and also make moving across weak ice safer. The drawback could be that your clothes get a little wet on the ice and very wet in the snow.
  9. Could the Sun appear higher and lower in the sky according to the seasons. I’ve heard the season suggestion before, which would be cool but that isn’t really where I’m headed with this. So, this change would mark the seasons passing but, keep the terrain cold and snow covered. The difference is more daylight for at times and more night at others depending on how long you survive.
  10. I’m not completely sure but I think that the moon isn’t always in the southern sky. I could be wrong. However, the points created by a crescent moon, when connected, and the line continued to the horizon, should point south. This would add realism to night navigation. Also, could a realistic moon rise moon set cycle be added?
  11. I’d like to be able to craft a straight/drill stick from a stick. This “drill” could be used for a friction fire kit but, before that, I’d like to be able to place this outside so it stands straight up and casts a shadow. I’d also like to be able to place rocks and not just drop them. If the sun movement is modeled right I can now use this gear to find cardinal direction just like real life.
