K3V038 Posted May 26, 2024 Posted May 26, 2024 Hunting in the game is good as we know it, it is straight forward and simple enough. Just learn the layouts of areas you plan on hunting in. Learn where bears patrol, meese spawn, deer graze and where rabbits make their dens and you will have a good advantage in future hunts. A intresting mechanic that could be added is a simple animal call the player can do with their hands. Maybe a mating call to atract either deer or doe, depending on the call, or a call of a dying/wounded rabbit to attract a passing predator. 1
TyTheFly Posted May 30, 2024 Posted May 30, 2024 1. Im very sorry man but its not meese its moose And this does seem smart but I could see how players could exploit this and just spam it for a bear or wolf and farm it so they never have to starve

You can still throw Stones to attract a wolf or bear but there is no way to do such thing with a deer or doe. With deer hunting you would have to crouch down and wait for a good shot, if you did a call, it would be making its way in your direction, giving you a better chance to kill it. There is still a tactic some people use. Throw a stone at the deer and it runs in the opposite direction the stone landed, its running at you if you do it well so...
RobotDino11 Posted May 31, 2024 Posted May 31, 2024 Mooses is technically a term. It's used to describe multiple species of moose, however. I still think that Meese should be a socially accepted term 1
