Where to bury...

Hello, this is a slightly silly question, but here goes. I've managed to complete almost all of the second Tale and have found my way to the waterfall mentioned in the Tale, but can't figure out where to lay the dead guard to rest. Where exactly do I put the bones?

As you face the waterfall, on the left side, about 20 meters down the hill from the tree bridge, near a tree, you should see a small odd looking clumping of snow on the ground.  There.  I just found it myself.

Don't go to the top of the waterfall (like I did) -- you have to wind around and find the view seen in the photo, then go up on the left side to find the burial spot. Also, don't be fooled by the 3 waterfalls you see when you're at the end of the water pipes ...

As others have said left side of hill facing falls if you study the photo you can get a general idea of the pov you want

I actually explored that area first when I first entered the Zone of Contamination and had it mapped, so I knew right away where to go

Did you ever find it? It took quite a while for the correct spot to appear despite looking all over that area. It almost seemed like it was delayed for a bit somehow.
