Lol🙂  a very atmospheric  scene!  Just hope if HTL puts them in that they don't look like that!

from the final cutscene of episode 3, had to replay it a few times in order to get this shot.  makes you wonder what kind of cataclysm took place that would freeze
Orca whales into place like that.  whatever it was, it was catastrophic. 

It would been very cool however to have Coastal Highway look like that in survival mode, don't you agree? 
oh, well, if wishes were fishes, we'd all be eating well and refilling our lanterns!

The day after tomorrow springs to mind! Scary thought! Not sure I'd want dead whales in game though,it's kinda heartbreaking!

wasn't that the movie where the freeze vortex shot down from high altitude or something like.  Everything and everybody just froze instantly, but the hero survived because he was burning books in the library?  that movie sucked balls

That's the one!🙂 Disaster movies are my favourite genre but that's not the best one by a long shot!

If those are Orcas (they look like it), they are HUGE in contrast to the Rikken!

@hozz1235 yeah killer whales can get fairly big, something like 30 ft long and 20,000 lbs, 
certainly not as big as the Riken but pretty damn big never the less. 

The waters in around Vancouver and the Seattle/Tacoma area, where I am from, is home to a dwindling population of Orca whales.  They are on the states protected species list and despite their protected status, their numbers have dropped drastically over the last 10 to 20 years. 
Little known bit of Orca whale trivia:  The gestation period for a pregnant Orca whale female is 15 to 18 months, nearly twice as long as a human child.  

We love our Orca!  Images like this one depict some of the best of native renditions of the Orca.  If I was gonna get a new tattoo, this is what I'd get!
