Burn Tinder

Would be nice if you could burn tinder (like newspapers) to get rid of this stuff. The game just spawns absurd ammounts of newspapers and it would be cool to make some use of it

I agree. It would be nice if we had a discard option for items that we don't need and are just cluttering the environment. I have no idea where to shove the tinder plugs and the cat tail heads and the newspapers.

If it stops ytubers from leaving bits of cat tails strewn all over the place then yes please! Drives me nuts!😁 

Honestly though I use tinder no matter what level I am  but I never use the newspaper so maybe they could be turned into bricks/logs for the fire.

What if we could craft a bunch of tinder together to get a piece of fuel. Like how we can craft sticks into tinder

I've previously made the suggestion of using tinder as an ingredient for a craftable fire log. Something like that would make this stuff useful.

After firestarting nv3 tinder/cattails head and other items becomes fully useless.

I see no reason to not let players use newspaper or another common tinder items as another stick-like item, giving no more than 5 minutes of burn but still noticeable if you have a good amount of them.
