Old Hermit
It just happened to me, i got food poisoning despite the Cooking 5 advantage. I grabbed 2 fishes, and i was on a hurry, so didn't want to cook the fishes, and eat them raw. Both gave me the food poisoning warning. So, i wonder if it's a problem with my savegame, or it's an intended feature. Anyone else experienced that? (using google translator)
ManicManiac
@Old Hermit I'm pretty certain that it's intended. Raw meat will give you food poisoning (and depending on what kind, also intestinal parasites). The benefits of Cooking Lv. 5 explicitly cite being applied to "cooked" food (processed food is also considered by the game to be "cooked" - so raw meat is still always going to be dangerous). The text only says "immune to parasites and food poisoning". I should have imagined that, really. Thanks for explaining.
