k0s0ff
Warning. This post is not an insult or a desire to speak negatively about Studio policy. It's more like thinking about buying. I've been thinking about buying. Decided to simply calculate what this me will cost. I decided to make the example products which are found in the game. Cost = 29.00 USD = 1 863,11 RUB And now the most interesting. How much can I buy with this money? below I will list how much each product can be bought for that amount separately. = 20 = 31 = 26 = 10 = 88 = 35 = 3 = 25 = 15 = 22 = 30 = 21 Funny. I was interested in studying this question. I think I'll buy it someday. In order to drink coffee. Hmm, there's the OFFICIAL HINTERLAND BIG MOOSE KICKS COFFEE MUG. This I, too, want) Hmm... Thank you for reading and do not judge strictly. 🐺
MarrowStone
This was really cool to see, I appreciate all the research gone into this. Of course season and location will change these numbers widely. I can see beef jerky is also weirdly expensive wherever you are! lol. Hey, at least the proceeds go back to these developers and their future crafts! I want one too, but I'm unsure of how practical a metal mug is for me when I usually microwave my tea. Okay, silly adulting question: Do i use a stove top with these? Or should I make tea in bulk using a seperate container? I don't own a functional kettle and am unsure about reheated overnight tea's safety.

I don't think you should put this mug on a hot stove. It is not convenient, at least because you can burn yourself. Probably have to use a separate container for this. Thanks for the reply. It's funny because the coffee costs 1/21 of the mug, but you get 5 mugs per cofee can in-game. Which means you make $143.62 dollars in mugs per coffee can you buy! Which means you make $3,016.02 in hinterland mugs if you buy 21 coffee cans. That's 105 mugs, for the price of one! ajb1978
Yeah definitely brew tea/coffee separately and pour into the mug. Another thing to consider, metal mugs hemorrhage heat very quickly. Your drinks will cool off in record time, and as a consequence, the mug may also be literally too hot to handle after pouring your drink. Might need to wear gloves, or use a hot pad or something.

I can confirm. I have the Hinterland logo mug and take it camping with me. It conducts heat like you wouldn't believe. Great for early morning coffee when it's still chilly out, gloves do help.

That's actually a good point, enamelware is great for camping. They're lightweight, and you can set them next to the fire or even directly onto coals to heat up a beverage, cook a can of beans, etc. Just watch out for that handle when you pick it up!
RegentRelic
I just usually don’t have a kettle with me so I use the the cup or make like Will and cook it in a can from the last night. 39 minutes ago, ajb1978 said: 40 minutes ago, ajb1978 said: That's actually a good point, enamelware is great for camping. I poured half into an enamel mug, left the other half in the can, and heated both up at the same time. Heated up faster, and we each had our own thing to eat out of!
RegentRelic
Usually when I am in a group we are all to selfish to do any thing like that. But sharing a nice cup of joe on a cold night sounds just right. Unless it is serious situation then more you need everyone to keep their strength up and operat at peak efficiency.
k0s0ff
I very rarely spend time in nature. But I have a mug and a pot. I rarely mug on near with a fire or on coals pose to heat up, usually in a pot preparing or water we heat. But Yes such a mug is practical in the campaign. a mug with the Studio logo want only in order to support your favorite Studio.
