Can't get to the barn without dying

I'm trying to get to Molly's barn by following the lines as instructed.  When I begin freezing, my condition starts dropping at astronomically fast levels, which is unheard of for this game.  It drops so fast that I don't have time to get to the barn without dying.

Has anyone else experienced this?

The only reason I died was due to a wolf struggle, but I had no problems getting there due to condition drop from the cold. That does sound really odd.

Yes.  Regardless, condition loss is at a fixed rate based on your unfulfilled needs.

That's cause you're going the wrong way.  See the short poles at 0:10? Follow them

I see.  I was assuming I had to go to the barn from survival mode.  I also had no idea what blizzard lines were and assumed it was a different name for power lines, which seems kind of silly in hindsight.

Even going to the big barn, it's a ridiculously long way. Much faster to just go into the direction of the silo and straight ahead. But they added a new small barn at the road to the house.

Right -- we put the blizzard lines right in front of you when you exited the basement. If you follow those, you'll get to Molly's Barn, which is not far away. You should have no issues getting there without freezing (unless you run into other issues along the way there, of course). Good luck!

I tried following the power lines at first. But after wondering for a little bit I remembered the the blizzard path at my grandmas farm and remembered the poles I saw when first leaving the basement.
