More use out of cars

Car radios need to work during the aurora. And maybe be able to start up and use the heater once the battery is charged. Also it be nice to syphon gas out and use as lamp oil or fire accelerate. Maybe be able to start a fire using the car battery using steel wool or cables.

Just noticed this last night.  An EV charger.

The updated Quonset yard was done a version or two ago but I never noticed the electric charger.  Does it light up during an aurora? 

Might be electric vehicles with large batteries elsewhere on this island.  The EV infrastructure has to be in place for some reason.  The aurora could charge a battery but then afterwards the battery is discharged. How does a larger battery help the situation?  Would shielding the charged battery be a solution? 

Do I know for certain? No.  Just putting some ideas on the table.

Have always thought you should be able to suck the fuel out at least given you can actually open the fuel cap
