I know what I'm  asking for is near impossible but when inside of buildings to be able to see out the windows.

...and imagine the views! I too like the idea of that. You might mean it for stealth reasons, and I understand that as well. It would just bring it all together inside of a building if we could gaze out and watch the slant of the snow during a blizzard or the trees sway or the reed or grass whip.

Yea, it would be cool. Sadly, it is not possible from the "resources" point - making this change would require some core changes in the game, and Hinterland doesnt have manpower and resources to do it. 
But one can dream...

It's easy: just go live in the Mountaineer's Hut.  Problem solved.  The whole sky is open to you.

Or more than one location. Why not stay in a cave and show off how much loot you have with that massive front door
