I was going to suggest a sled of some kind! And yeah, that site is almost exactly what I was thinking. Personally, I'd harvest the fan from one of the old trucks or tractors, one from a car is too flimsy, and find some medium sized hard rocks. Build a hand drill and slowly cut a hole in the top of one of the rocks, might take days, secure a pipe in there, then just grind. Heh! Get it, grind.
