  1. Ah, good to be back once more, and once more with more goodies! This time, the art was done by Kruh and Valdoodlez! Can you spot the differences in who made which piece? Starting from the beginning, we have the loveable but snarky and sharp (in more ways than one) Loona, a disguised Hellhound that came up to this frozen Hell hole (Ha!) to find her father. More because he's the boss of their company than because it's her dad (Suure). And right with her came Octavia, the princess of the Ars Goetia, and a daughter of the one and only Stolas, who disappeared with Loonas father a week ago. With his Grimoire, they followed their trail, but found themselves in their own trouble. But luckily the M&M, Millie and Moxxie, are therewith them to give a helping hand and tail, though they'd do well not to be spotted by those few still living on the island.... Speaking of living, both Blitz and Stolas seem to be having a grand ol' time, tho what is that in the imps look? Ah, it's probably just alcohol... And let's not forget out Mystery Lake Five! Guy, Ollie, Morten, Rudy and Fred! They sure are a colorful bunch (Even tho their portraits are black and white with a dash of blood!) It's been over a year writing this story, and much changed during that time, from jobs and place of living... But the desire to bring this story forth and make it as good as both this beautiful game and this stunning show deserve is still something that I'm dedicated to. Even if it takes me more time than I imagined. (Hell it already took more money than I imagined XD) If you are interested in the story, you can check it here! And of course if you would like to ask any and all questions, I'm your guy
  2. Drawn by a friend going by the name "Kruh", the pieces are of Jeremiah (Our beloved Old Trapper) and Guy (Our beloved fanfiction failed exorcist)! This version of Jeremiah is much more stealth-oriented, using a "...handmade cloak of pelts, fur, and an old winter camouflage net, acting as a pseudo cloak..." to blend with the snow, rocks, and shrubbery of the Great Bear Island, while also keeping himself warm and comfy. He also applied some camo to his rifle, in the form of painting the body over white-gray and tying up cloth around the front part to break the weapon's straight figure. He didn't touch his revolver, however. Guy is one of the "Mystery Lake Five", a small group of men that were in Mystery Lake at the start of The First Flare. Why does he have a Forest Talker jacket on him? Well, he took it off of one of the dead members, after being a part of killing said members: self-defense and all. Not just the jacket but the axe and the rifle too. He doesn't hope nobody needs them anymore because the nobodies are dead. He has no intention of joining them. If you wish to check the story out, you can do so here
  3. Another art piece, also done by Charlotte, is set in the ever-dreary Blackrock. I'm probably not alone in saying that Blackrock Region is just a sodding pain in the back rear, and the prison itself is this weird mixture of labyrinth and forced extended ways of going around made to waste time. So of course I wasn't going to have it be the same. Oh no. The First Flare saw an intense riot happening across the prison, though luckily the systems to the solitary all got fried and locked the place down completely. Our dear warden along with the guards used up pretty much every shell and bullet they had in store, and even then it wasn't enough. In the end, only him, and another guard, survived. Well, them and a few prisoners that decided trying to take over the prison by force while everything was going crazy wasn't the smartest thing to do. Quite smart that fella Vachon. Come dawn, there was plenty of dead. Not just in the prison or the region. But a glimmer of hope, in the form of a brave mountie leading the townsfolk of Thomson's Crossing to safety. A chance to protect each other from this madness. The same mountie sitting here in the prison infirmary, talking to a strange woman not from the island, found in the snow. She doesn't know how she got there, nor who she is. Her eyes hurt to look at. Something is not right there. How will things play out? Its up to us to see. You can check out the story here
  4. @ManicManiac Thank you for the kind words, I'm happy that you enjoyed the art pieces of my story I hope you give the story itself a try, and find it a worthwhile spending of your time! Cheers to you too
  5. After a long time, it is done! A piece showing off the Mystery Lake Five, as some call them, as well as the disguised and not-so-disguised denizens of Hell that either wound up on Great Bear by accident or found their way there on purpose. And of course, The Great Bear itself, looming ominously, ever present. Created by Charlotte, the piece has given me a wonderful base off of which I can show off my characters in visual art, not just textual one. It also allowed me to put the images from my head onto paper, as in I am able to finally see the Mystery Lake Five in flesh so to speak, their faces now shown for everyone to see If anyone wants to check the story out, you can do so here And if anyone wants to check out what other art Charlotte has, you can visit her profile here And of course, any and all questions are welcome, I'm happy to answer them!
  6. This one, now this one was commissioned by me way back in I think...March, maybe. Back then the story way just a few months old, barely over 10 chapters. But those are probably some of the strongest chapters overall, given the fact the whole thing was set up in them, from the Mystery Lake Five, to the Forest Talkers, to all the other little tidbits that make the story different to the game version of TLD. That's the beauty of writing a story. One isn't limited in mechanics of games, and can write such stuff as a Guy actually fighting a Bear instead of instantly getting pinned to the ground, or in this case, ice. Strange how bears don't seem to care about weak ice. For anyone interested, you can find the story right here
  7. Hello! I don't know how this all works, but I'd still like to show something related to the game, in this case a fanart a reader of my work has commissioned for it, showing off two characters from the story in a sticky situation! Art was done by Patecko, and honestly, to me it's beyond based that something like this would be made for something I made.
