Hi, @Enigmaecho! Are you referring to the issue with the Curator's Rifle not spawning in some circumstances, or is there something else you're inquiring about? We're working toward a resolution for spawn issues with the Curator's Rifle, but we want to make sure we're addressing your questions and concerns, and not missing anything. 

Also, is there any additional information you can provide about the gold nuggets? Thanks in advance!

I don't know why I never noticed this before, but I wonder if it's always been this way, and either nobody noticed, or nobody said anything. But I just noticed it for the first time today. Someone could technically use it as an "exploit" and save themselves some weight if they want to use the cans for cooking or making water later on... if they just eat MOST of what's in the can, apparently they can get it to a point where two cans only cost them .02KG rather than .30KG.

Minor thing probably in the scheme of things, but I know sometimes those few KGs can make all the difference in the world! Like, for example, trying to get onto a rope.

Anyways, just thought I'd report it. I searched the forums and could only find one thread mentioning of "cans", and it was about spray cans.

I mean that there is no way that you can jump to the paragraph below to start another line of text. Had a few people join me and explained the fishing issue to them, which visually was quite clear (my cursor disappears once I start fishing) and someone called Jade forms Zak’s Discord said can you push escape……I’d never tried that. I did and it worked! So I have found a work around thanks to Zak and his team. 
There’s still something wrong though….so yeah.  I’m sure you will have lots of fun trying to figure out why using my game files and I don’t envy you at all.

I’ve checked all the locations listed on the wiki as well as every cave, structure and corpse I can find. At this point I’m wondering if there is a chance that the rifle never spawned into the game when I started the run. 
 

For reference I’m playing on PS4 and do have the TFTFT dlc and began this run after installing the update. 
 

Thanks for any help you can give. I’m not looking for a specific location as I’m happy to keep searching assuming I’m not just wasting my time if there is a chance of a bug.

As must as we love the crafty suggestion... no. We will be sure to give advance warning before we introduce the Cougar into the game.
