I have managed to get to the log viaduct above the coastal highway but find a break with just a rail levft joining the two halves. Is it safe to walk over?? Have survived over 100 days and do not want to make a stupid mistake!!!

go ahead... It´s safe. But walk over the rail.

It's the only way to go directly from CH to ML. It's safe to cross as long as you are careful and stay on the rail.
