Dara
Its been years and years since I had seen that one, very good. I mean, bar a few things like man killing bears being a "problem" and the fact that they never ate anything and yet had all the energy in the world ... lol I think waay to much Regardless it was very enjoyable. Any other recommendations of survival style films?
logang
It was good for what it was, not a survival guide or true to live documentary, but an entertaining movie.
Don Reba
Charles is that rare character I can strongly relate to — his personality, not his plane. Sir Anthony Hopkins did an outstanding job there.
edward_smith
That was filmed outside of my hometown...some friends worked on that set, kind of makes the movie a little more special for me.

Dara
I've seen The Road and Alive (although they merit a re-watch tbh) but not seen the rest, will give them a go, thanks
TarjaS
I came across The Snow Walker in YouTube quite by accident some time ago and I was surprised at how good it was.

Hinterland Raphael van Lierop Posted November 5, 2013 Hinterland Share Posted November 5, 2013 One of my favourite films, ever, with a powerful script by David Mamet, one of my favourite writers, ever.
SteveP
It was good for what it was, not a survival guide or true to live documentary, but an entertaining movie. Not a guide you are right however the content features subjects not often thought related to survival but that are essential.
