EternityTide
Question:Is it safe to sleep in here? The ambience is perturbing to say the least, but is there any actual threats in there? I was nervously exploring through it on my way to pleasant valley, and I had this itch at the back of my mind that I was going to bump into some hibernating bear or something, but if I was to actually put my sleeping roll down and go to sleep, will I be under threat from miscellaneous predators? selfless
There is nothing living in the cave and mine systems right now (except maybe you). But it is good to be scared lest you become scarred.Bears only live in dead-end caves, currently.
Scyzara
Just as a sidenote: Bear-inhabited caves can be recognized by deer bones at the cave's entrance. Caves without these bones are thus save to sleep in.
Nemesis
Nothing to be afraid of in either the cave or the mine. However, don't take that for granted after each update, as the devs are evil and like to insert undocumented "surprises" such as bears in places where there was none previously or storms designed to hit you at the most dangerous moments.
