Mistral
Looks like a bug. Anytime I'm now playing Custom mode, the wolfs are completely mute and therefore attack can come out of nowhere. But if I play one of the "official" game modes, the sounds work fine. I have the Survival monologue always turned off (since I can't stand those voices) in Custom, but is that what's breaking the animal sounds now too? Leeanda
I've had silent twolves at bleak, since the hotfix. I play custom too but the voices are on so I don't think it's that.. half the aurora's are still silent too,so maybe just still an audio thing. Mistral
Yeah auroras sometimes have sounds, sometimes not. But that's not as annoying as aurora doesn't attack you I had silent wolves before DLC part 4 and had hoped things would get sorted Edited December 11, 2023 by Mistral
Leeanda
Oh I know it's not... I can imagine how dangerous it'd be not hearing wolves creeping up on you.. Hopefully it'll be in the next fix..
UpUpAway95
I would say it's not a general issue with Custom since all my wolves make noise and I've not noticed any other sounds missing. I'm on an Xbox Series X (just in case it's a sound issue related to a specific platform).
Mistral
I guess I have to experiment with the "survival monologue" turned on, even though I can't stand it. That's the only audio setting I can tinker with, even though it shouldn't affect other sounds. Well that and the player+NPC voice on general audio but why would that make any difference. Otherwise it's probably some other random bug (on Steam). Edited December 12, 2023 by Mistral
