Game not starting since Part 3 update on Steam for Linux

As the title, since I downloaded the update today, the game doesn't launch. It opens a black screen but never gets to a proper loading screen or the disclaimer..

I wondered if this has happened to anyone else today?

I am having the same problem on MacOS Catalina. I have tried quitting and restarting the game, Steam, rebooting the entire computer, uninstalling and reinstalling TLD. All to no avail.

As for any folks experiencing issues on Mac: if you are playing on Mac and previously used glcore, you will need to turn it off or switch to "-disable-postprocess."
