I left Scarlet back in the cabin.  It's been a while since our encounter with the bear... so I decided to spend the day fishing and collecting sticks.  I figure, if I'm ever not certain of what to do, keep gathering food.  

Managed to gather a few more sticks on the way back this evening.
It was time to cook, give Scarlet another treat, and probably just go to bed.

This cutie is a Hoverfish... it was the first creature that I collected when I arrived here on planet 4546B.
I named it Gem, and she's been with me every step of the way, and down to the deepest depths.   If I ever manage to get off of this planet, Gem is coming with me.

Fair question, this thread is sort of non sequitur... which is why I named it that.

I think there's room in the community to also discuss other things as well.  This thread specifically I put up for things I think are TLD adjacent... or sort of live in the same ecosystem as the game that most of us are here to celebrate.

That last screenshot is from another wonderful survival sandbox type of game: Subnautica

Admittedly, this started as a place for me to put things very loosely/tangentially related to TLD... but as you can see over time it kind of morphed into a place for all sorts of non sequiturs.   

More from planet 4546B - some of the more dramatic shots I managed to get while out trying to conduct more field research while trying to gather resources to one day make it off world (and maybe... just maybe get back home):

Beware the terrors of the deep... if you do not wish to gaze upon that which stares back at you from the abyss... look no further.

My latest Forestry Lookout/Firewatch Tower endeavor:

[Dark Oak & Oak... also the tallest one I've managed to put up so far. ]

I do still have to finish the interior of the cab, but from the outside it's compete and stands as a beacon marking (0, 0) - the campfire on the shore there at the bottom.
